Your outbound agent blasts a fixed cadence; encode a trigger-gated sequence it advances only on signal.

The 90-second read

Your outbound agent can send a five-touch sequence to every account at once. Most owners let it. So the agent fires touch three whether or not touch two landed, and it keeps going after a reply. That is volume, not a sequence. As the GTM leader you set the standard the whole team's agent runs on. A trigger-gated sequence advances each touch only when a condition is met, and stops the moment a buyer responds.

Read time: about 5 minutes. First step runnable Monday morning.

The #1 move this week

Map your best outbound sequence as a set of gates, not a set of timers.

Your agent runs whatever cadence you gave it, usually fixed intervals. Take the sequence that actually books meetings and write the condition that should open each touch. Touch two fires only if touch one was opened. Touch four fires only on a fresh trigger. That gate map becomes the standard the agent runs, so it sends on signal instead of on a clock.

Start here: pull your current outbound sequence and write the entry condition for each touch. You need your sequence and 45 minutes.

Ignore this week: adding more touches or new copy. Gate the sequence you already have first.
