The 90-second read

Your best pipeline still slips in the last stretch. The deal looked strong, then the buyer went quiet and the quarter closed without it. Late stages are where good reps and great reps split. Great reps run a mutual action plan built with the buyer, multi-threaded, worked back from the close date. Those deals close. The rest slip a quarter, then slip again.

Read time: about 5 minutes. First step runnable Monday morning.

The #1 move this week

Pick your three biggest late-stage deals and build a mutual action plan with the buyer on each.

Great reps do not hope a late deal closes. They agree the decision process, the people, and the dated steps back from the close date. That plan gives the buyer a clear path and the champion cover to sell it inside. Deals with a plan close; deals without one slip. Build it with the buyer, not for them.

Start here: pick your top three late-stage deals and draft a mutual action plan for each. You need each deal's close date, decision process, and the full stakeholder list.

Ignore this week: do not chase status updates or send another "just checking in" email. Book the plan instead.
